Congratulations, Mike!

When Mike Hergert turned 60 this month he marked the milestone birthday with a landmark event. Hergert took part in the American Cancer Society’s DetermiNation Hood to Coast 197-mile run. The vice president of Grand Forks-based Red River Farm Network ran a total of about 16½ miles in the race, sharing legs with 11 other men and women across the United States who work for agricultural businesses. The race, held Friday and Saturday, began at Timberline Lodge at Mount Hood, Ore., continued through Portland and ended in Seaside, Ore.
